UK EIA Certification.

Events professionals all over the world are now required to demonstrate their competence in events management by undertaking a program of study that leads to international certification. The achievement of an international certificate in events management confirms that the events professional is able to work to international standards when undertaking their work. UKEIA provides an International Certification scheme that is based on the United Kingdom National Occupational Standards for the Events Industry.
The UKEIA Certificates that are currently available include:

EIA Certified Event Administrator
EIA Certified Event Technician
EIA Certified Event Planner
EIA Certified Event Organiser
EIA Certified Event Manager
EIA Certified International Event Organiser
EIA Certified International Event Manager
EIA Certified Events Tutor

The Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management (APIEM) has been authorised by UKEIA to offer these Certificates under the name of APIEM.

To be awarded a UKEIA or APIEM Certificate candidates have to demonstrate their competence in events management either by:

1 Undertaking an approved training course and completing its assessments as well as submitting a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates the candidate`s practical experience in organising events; or


2 For candidates who have at least three years practical experience of working in the events industry the submission of a detailed portfolio that demonstrates how they meet the learning outcomes of the appropriate Certified program.
